london city airport parking

costs £24 a day to park there - does anyone know of any cheaper parking alternatives?

PS I did find this which is rather good, but nowt that fits the bill for me on this occasion.

PPS Yes I know about the DLR but again not handy in this instance!

    I think you're right ... I'll park by a friend's in Blackheath and cab it from there I think.

    As it goes I do. If you go to the street level entrance to the DLR (they're residential streets) you can probably find a spot that will actually be closer than some bits of the carpark. Whenever I get a minicab out of there they always park down there.
