Should we take a chance on a lower league striker? if so, any suggestions?

    Varney at Crewe? They Have allways produced half decent players.

    Billy Sharp at Scunthorpe has scored loads of goals both last seasno and this and i think he's still only 20.

    Billy Sharp is a good shout, 17 goals in 25 I think.

    Wouldn't cost us more than a million.

    I think Man City have been sniffing around him, he may want to stay up north as well.
    I think he'd cost around 1.5m

    We need a big player who will influence and change the way we are playing, lower league strikers wont do this.

    Remember Dugarry fro Brum? something like that
