It's just good to get the result. Two World class goals apparently, a cracking game. Well done Charlton!

If it was that good, why was that Ambrose dipshit around? Surely Kins would still do a better job?

If we won all our games, we'd have 50 points. Not enough to stay up last year but you never know. It's a huge huge IF and it won't happen though.

Have to say I felt nervous at the end listening to the commentary. I've not had that feeling for ages. Great win, performance and goals by all accounts. Too late, but a win is worth celebrating.

Southampton did a brilliant marketing exercise to more or less double the gate today:

Attendance: 27,228 (886 away) (Highest League attendance this season)

You know I go banging on about why our striker doesn't generally score....?

Well, nothing to do with missed penalties. It's just the team is tactically set up for midfielders to come throigh and score.
Guess who scored today ? Yep, Shelvey, Racon and Bailey - all midfielders.

    Over to you, Brian .......

    We're on a roll, folks.
2 games unbeaten "on the spin", as our old mate Curbs used to say. P'raps.

Or it could just be that our forwards this season have collectively failed to deliver.

Be fair, BFR ...... our front man hardly gets a service, does he ... ?

If he was bleedin' Ronaldo, he wouldn't score in our team.

Great day!! Just got home and living in Southampton, it feels great to come out of St Mary's with three points! The lads deserved the win, Saints were poor but take nothing away from a really good performance. Great to see Jonjo and Racon throw their shirts into the fans, and despite the trouble outside the ground afterwards it was a day I can truly say I'm proud to be an Addick!

"And the shirts of Racon and Shelvey were hurled in to the crowd, together with the gloves of Elliot, as the visitors celebrated."

    No wonder we're skint......... lol

Indeed, celebrating a win has been a rare experience this season.

It was one of his new ones so it doesn't count.

Spurs take £40 out of the player's wages if they don't return thier shirts after the game.

But when you're earning upwards of £20k per week, what's £40 to some of these players!
