Desperate Father Requires Help

Throughout the last couple of seasons of dross my 6 year old son has stayed loyal. He doesn't have much choice really but I'm concerned he is beginning to drift from his (my!) beloved Charlton. I have always refused to buy him any other team shirts apart from ourselves, England and Brazil but he loves his football and in order to keep him away from the premiership cash cows I want to get him some club shirts from team around the globe.

Anyone got an good websites or shops that cater for a nearly 7 year old (birthday coming up).

On a brighter note, his mates Dad gave him an old Man Utd shirt to wind me up and he used it to help clean his Mums car - God bless him - I must be doing something right as a father!

Can I respectfully say not to buy him any other national team's shirts....thats just as much treachery to me.

PS......class picture of a young Billy Bonds in the old white Charton shirt in our section, and Curbs as a youth in the West Ham section

I'd be happy for my little one to wear something like Togo or Benin - more for comedy value

Go with one of the Champions League on the continent that qualify for the semi's. It'll give him someone to support and hope that one of the big 4 gets stuffed!

It is a weighty problem, my son has come up with Liverpool are his second team....it is the thin edge of the wedge, I used to live in Miseryside (and stand on the Kop from time to time) and he thinks he can get around me. So I am investing in a full season ticket for him next year.
