My Dad said the same thing about Marcus Bent, that the booing seemed to be working as he was playing crap. Until I pointed out that he was crap in the first place.

Bouazza really was bad, and i agree that for a change the booing seemed to work.

The West stand was booing Bouazza and Bent, and I was one of them. It's not something we're noted for, and I normally hate booing, but the sentiment was strong and it got more persistent as everyone felt it was having an effect. They deserved it, so on this occasion, no regrets.

Having Bouazza and bent to boo seemed to up the atmosphere for us and it was a bit of a laugh.

booing doesn't always improve the player's performance - remember all the abuse carlton cole got when he played against us for villa - it seemed to completely put him off. I think usually it doesn't make much difference.

Bowyer was excellent at Charlton and his fee did a lot to get the club on the up.
Bent is a disgrace and Bouazza is irrelevent

That's true.

Glad Bouazza got boo-ed. Wnaker of the lowest order, walked out to join an apparently better team having been a major contributor to our poor start. I don't mind rats deserting a sinking ship, but it's a bit rich if they were on the crew.
