After all the talk on the OS about Tamer Tuna.

We haven't had a striker from the youth team make his debut in the first team since Charlie MacDonald in 99/00. Nearly 10 years ago. Before that I think Lisbie was the last one.

Pretty poor really, but we've had quite a few midfielders. Wright, Arter, Wagstaff, Yussuff and Shelvey all in the last couple of seasons.

  • And Charlie scored against Newcastle and was repaid the following weeks by being dropped and then dispatched to Margate on a monthly contract..........
