So who's seen the most relegations on here then?

I've been there for 3 of them from the mid 70's onwards (missed the 1st time from the Prem).

I was there for 98/99 against Sheff Wed, 06/07 against Spurs and I should be for 08/09 against Blackpool or Cardiff. Even if we win both games I think all four of the other clubs that can go down will pick up points somewhere.

Remember seeing us go down in 56/57 (was a 9-year old boy then!), then lose 3-4 to Blackburn, 1957/58. Have done 3rd division before and survived!

I started supporting club during season 70/71 so have seen a few relegations but even though I have sadly expected us to go down this year since the start of the year, I will still be a little teary eyed on Saturday. Unless of course miracles DO happen?

This is my 5th as well. Counter that with 4 promotions and a full members cup final appearance.

2 for me. 98/99 and 06/07. Was in Australia for 89/90 and won't be there on Saturday. Will be an 'interesting atmosphere' come the final whistle....

Just the 3 for me, two from the Prem and this one, can't say I have enjoyed any of them.

Relegation is never 'enjoyable', but is all part of football.
Balance it with winning play-offs and promotion - or the relief of winning the relegation play-off replay v Leeds!

Bloody hell, you lot are amateurs. I've seen 7 relegations with the Palace, but the plus side to that is I've seen 7 promotions as well.

One thing you can generally get at Palace is an interesting season, which is why one's like this one have been dissapointing, ending in mid table stalemate.

You Palace fans don't know how lucky you are! Coming on here with your mid-table goalscoring obscurity. Harumph!

    Ive been through four..

1990 remember it, but dont think i was there...
1999 Sheff Wed was at that one
2007 Spurs was at that one
2009 in Aus so wont be there.....

It sucks lets face it... and for all the great times, avoiding relegation a couple of times in the old div one and the playoff final against Leeds, and all the wonderful times in the prem and getting back there, and the Valley oh the Valley.....

All the good times go VERY VERY FAST and feel like they will NEVER end...
All the bad times feel like they last FOREVER and we will NEVER get back to the top....

yet if we knew what was going to happen, we would probably lose interest.....

    Charlton til I die...
