Strange how global warming effects different places in different ways. Today it is nice and mild in Portmouth but minus ten in Southampton

    I was at a local bus stop the other day and there was a bloke there with no legs, who I've got to know on a sort of nodding acquantance basis over the last few months.
    I thought I would break the ice and before I realised what I was saying I simply asked him "How are you getting on?"
    He gave me a really dirty look and has completely ignored me since!

    I don't believe it's ever "nice" in Portsmouth !
