I like Norwich - family club, big fanbase considering and nobody likes to enjoy relegation. But what I want to see is a Charlton team that's ruthless, predatory and sends them down as it'll be a nice psychological blow for next season and I'm fed up with being nice!

Come on you Reds!

Considering our failure to do that on 40 odd previous occasions this season, I doubt we'll send them down. After all, we did the very poor Derby team a favour.

Aghh but we are draw specialists at home with our special 'infa draw method' start 4 -5 -1 and play the last 35 mins 9 -0 -1, that should do the trick.

My prediction would be a draw at the Valley and at Plymouth.

A new version of the "sha la la we sent the Narridge down?"

I wont be gloating or get any joy out of helping send Norwich down with us. So, I wont be singing any songs about it!

I'm hoping Southampton win and we get a draw.
To be knocked off of bottom place because of the 10 point deduction, in view, would be wrong. History must show what a truly crap effort our club has put in this season.

Soton's 10 point deduction is for next season, as they were past 27th March when went into administration and were already down.

Don't ask me why Stockport's is this year though.

I'll now answer my own question.

"In 2007, the rule was amended so that clubs going into administration after the fourth Thursday in March would have the 10-point deduction suspended, but only if they are in the relegation zone.

If they are outside the relegation zone, then the points are taken off straight away, even if it means they then drop into the relegation zone. "

I thought it f the saints had got out of the bottom 3 they would have the 10 points taken then as still 'active' in the league. Stockport were still active so had the 10 points deducted. The fact southampton are relegated the 10 points would not punish the club, stockport have dropped quite a few places as still active so therefore less prize money and punishment enough. Its all down to the saints being doomed already, a 10 point deduction to say us right now would maqke no difference so unfair to the other league clubs.

    You are correct.
In that case I hope we win in style. By the odd 5 or 6 goals

Not too sure about that. Can't remember any bad feelings between the clubs in the past and very similar in many ways. As we've seen with the Palace thing sometimes these things come around to bite you on the backside. I'm with cafakev on this one.

What would really cheese me off, is if at the end of the game Norwich saved their status and celebrated by invading our pitch.

The season has been a disgrace to our club from start to finish and I am happy it is about to finish. But there have been signs of life of late, with a decent manager, a striker not afraid to score and holding onto a few decent players we could be right up there next season and put this whole tawdry mess behind us. I have nowt against Norwich but I would like Charlton to sign off on a good note and if that means relegating Norwich then so be it. I agree with Supaclive, we are far to nice so it would be nice to be nasty for a change.
