He was in the tunnel toward the end. Asked how he was and he said he'd cracked a rib, so painful, but thankfully OK.

They are absolute murder for a week or two...done it myself whilst sking a few years back....getting in and out of bed was pure hell and you have to get someone to pull you out and lower you in. Funnily enough it's not too bad when you're actually standing up or walking around...it's when you want to lie down or get up that the problems really start.
If he's got a holiday booked in the near future he'd best forget it for a while.

...said Parkinson, who confirmed on-loan defender Darren Ward had been forced off in the first half with two fractured ribs.

Said Parkinson: "Darren Ward has damaged his ribs. That gave us cause for concern but we dealt with that as well as we could and got the ball down and played some good football.”

how long does a cracked rib(s) keep you out for ? Was thinking it might actually turn into a good thing for us, other clubs could be put off giving us more of an advantage in signing him.

I've broken two ribs from sparring at karate. It took about 4 weeks for the pain to die down and another 2 for it to heal. As SoundAsa£ says, it is worse lying down. It didn't stop me training but I couldn't spar for a few weeks.

I hope he stays in my opinion i don't think that he is a agent only Nigels do but he would be a key player for us in years to come.
He is far better than our 'captain' and he is really good in the air really do hope he stays.

On SSN I heard the Wolves chairman Steve Morgan had payed for a full expenses paid trip to Vegas for all the players and many of the players today were not commiting themselves too much against Donny because they didn't want to get injured before the holiday, so if Darren is included unlucky fella.

That's what I thought. I'd love him to stay.
