Bands/music acts seen live

Seen hundreds over the years, from Mega City 4 at Cov Poly to Madonna at Wembley... Supported Fields of the Nephilim on tour at the end of the 80s and then worked at BMG in the mid 90s, when I was at 2 or 3 gigs a week.... Most gigs these days are through work, taking journalists along - so even had to see New Kids at O2 a couple of months back..possibly my worst gig ever, so I just spent all my time at the bar making sure the journos were well watered... Best ever band seen live for me is the Cure, seen them about 5 or so times and they never, ever disappoint... Saw them at the NME awards things a couple of months back and they were absolutely awesome, altho the sound let them down a bit....
Am at Wembley loads this summer with work - hosting at U2, AC/DC, Oasis, Take That etc etc0 -

I think it'd be better to ask if there was one band/singer you regret not seeing that you could of in your life time before they died/split up etc who would that be? ie, you didn't buy tickets for it
I've seen many bands, but always regretted never seeing Pulp. Was too young for when they played glastonbury. My mates saw them loads and ended up being groupies and going to parties with them, but I never went. Saw Jarvis Cocker at a Stephen Malkmus gig at the ULU though. As well as John Peel who I didn't realise who it was until I asked him where the toilet was! oops.0 -

No mate, just saying i have never actually been to a gig or seen a live (famous) band anywhere anytime.
Wasn't being arsey or anything like that dude.0 -
Sorry - mis-interpreted your message - apologies. I assume you just don't particularly enjoy music then MCS?
Fair enough, each to their own and all that.0 -
Yeah i like music, more so lately for some reason, just never been compelled to go to a gig, it is strange really, my mates think i am mental, but they aint really far from the truth haha
Nearly went to one last year i think, had the tickets for linkin park at O2 but that was the same night we drew 1-1 with stoke and i couldn't not go to the footie!! I am actually not a big lover of loud music, it quite frankly hurts my ears, say like when in a stupid nightclub (dont go to them either!) you cant talk to no sod without them screaming in ya ears, which also hurts!! The people i was sposed to go linkin park with said it was well loud so alls good for me!!
*edit* no need to apologise tho fella its all good0 -
With you on the nightclub thing - me neither, the volume and the music they play...0

That's because you're an old sod now P ... just like me lol0 -
I aint old tho, even when i was 18 in my bird pulling prime (beating em off with sticks i was!!) i hated the loudness!! My ears are bad tho!! In fact i am gonna start an ear thread!0
