The NOTA party

With all the furore surrounding sleaze and the lack of integrity in British Politics I was intrigued to hear on R5 Live this morning that, in the style of Brewster's Millions, someone has set up a "None Of The Above" party and is hoping to field candidates in future elections.

With the turnout in most elections falling year by year do you think this may spark enough enthusiasm to get people to the polling stations?

I think it would be far more valid to vote NOTA than spoil a ballot paper if you a person were trying to register a protest vote and would send a much cleared message to those in power than a protest vote for one on the minor parties.

Just trying to find a link on the web.

Another load of people who can obviously afford to loose their deposits.

If only Hunter S Thompson hadn't killed himself.......he came very close to winning an election in Aspen, Colorado with virtually no policies at all.

Imagine him as mayor of London!!!!
