Its amazing how Wall fans are slating Scunny for poor support at Wembley , Scunthorpe brought 9300 , how
many of the 40 odd thousand had actually been to a game before the play off final this season ?

The words 'band' and 'wagon' spring to mind, they only come out for the 'glamour' games. I would have thought that the 9000 odd Scunthorpe fans are actually regular fans who go week in week out rain or shine and as such are real supporters rather than daytrippers, I applaud them and am happy that they got the promotion they deserved as they are a decent well run football club. It will be interesting to see what the can do in the Championship.

Scunthorpe were there last month against Luton and they've appeared there in recent years in the play-offs, so presumably less interest from the day-outers. All anyone will remember in a year's time is the result. I prefer quality over quantity anyday.
