Faye was unwell and apparrently vomiting overnight.
Reid had twangs in his hamstring.
Both were selected to play, neither should have. As a consequence we could end up losing Reid for the vital Christmas games.

In more cases than not though i would have thought the physios would give their report and the player themselves would have th final decision as to whether they could play or not.
If Faye/Reid said they were ok to play then Reed/Robson etc have to take their word for it0 -

Faye probably played because Kish was injured and maybe they hoped Reid's hamstring would ease. Darren Bent is supposed to have played with a tight hamstring for some time.0
