I once went for a job as Marketing Manager of Ipswich Town when John Lyall was Manager, I was advised that I was too "London" fro Ipswich, a year later they were relegated, if only they'd had me.
I went for two jobs at Charlton last year funnily enough.....just to try my luck. Kit Manager and Assistant Press Officer. Suffice to say I wasn't successful in either of my applications. Doh!
