Is with AON at £20m a season for four years. Recession...What recession. My ex won't be happy. She works for them and had to take a demotion and a pay freeze because of the current economic climate.

    Chicago. As an employee in London, I read your blog with interest and couldn't agree more, particularly when we were told in the UK that there would be no pay rises this year and that the employer contributions to the pension scheme would be reduced. The official announcement has just been sent out to us internally, but have not read it properly yet.

    My mate works there as well - said its a kick in the teeth for people who didnt get a raise only for 80m quid to go to a team the majority of staff hate.
