Not sure if this has been covered before, but getting pretty irate at continually hearing of a breakaway from the league of the top four english clubs.
This was covered in a few newspapers yesterday.
Who are the top four english clubs? are Arsenal an automatic choice anymore?
Don't know how this would affect us "lesser" teams?
Personally, i would like to see this happen. I think it would fall flat after the first season, there supporters would be disheartened of being in a atmosphere-less ground. And it would all get a little boring. No scoreline upsets to get upset/excited about. The whole novelty of travelling around Europe on a regular basis would not only be costly but also wear thin (although the scousers would no doubt be having it off with their duty free snout).
Yes it would be a shame to not get the oportunity to visit these grounds, but sod em, and their overvalued players.
Would they/could they still be able to contest the FA cup?
Would this make players outside the top four's asking price/wages become a little more realistic?
