"I signed a contract as manager for at least one year, so there is no indication they want to change that. They were happy with me that I was loyal to the club, that I kept things running and they expressed that they were grateful."
Mark Wotte interviewed on Radio Solent, explainging the reasons he was happy to sign a rolling one-year contract as Manager of Southampton the previous week.

    Presumably he signed the contract before the T/O and the new owner had different ideas.
