Not our training ground, but the one in West Wickham/Coney Hall.

Played football against this club in the 70,s based just up the road from Hayes railway station. The club would always had many teams from under 10,s to over 18,s.Had a very good set up and not only football but other sports played as well.
Makes you wonder what the world is coming to.

Went past this morning. The field is cordoned off and there are police searching. Heard it was to do with drugs. No surprises there then.

Used to play against teams from there all the time in the mid nineties. Turned out some right nasty sides then - and one of their kids' teams a couple of years back played against my nephew's team in the Tandrdige league - the parents were ridiculous caricatures of Danny Dyer or Ray Winstone.

Still a horrible thing to happen

R.I.P in anyway, no deserves to die like this.
  • I used to play for Coney Hall and trained there for West Wickham sometimes. The Coney Hall teams were generally filled with and run by people from Addington and further afield and were generally a lot of idiots and plenty of wannabe gangsters. Im sure that bloke cantona kung fu'ed played there as well.

You mean New Addington, not Addington. World of difference between the two!

  • Played against him last season, remember him from the game, didnt move from the centre circle and tried to kick anything that came near him, good player though.
