  • The New Walkers Jimmy Con Carne crisps are amazing!! Best thing i've ever tasted.
  • Whatever is in the cupboard!
  • Frazzles.

    S & V Chipsticks when I was younger.
  • Old Dutch, tomato ketchup flavour. Became addicted to them in Canada!

All crisps are brilliant though! Except those low fat, healthy-option, baked cardboard jobs. What's the point? Salt and fat is the magic ingredient.
  • Peanut Puffs if they qualify.

    If not, T-Bone Steak Roysters.
  • [cite]Posted By: uncle[/cite]Like quite a few of these being spoken about but for me its got to be Quavers
[cite]Posted By: Folev the red[/cite]love all crisps, but quavers are just timeless

I used to love them, when they were made by Smiths.

Walkers have fecked the recipe up(according to my tastebuds), they taste very tangy now, used to be way more subtle.

The Red Sky West Country Cheddar & Bacon are my current favourites, along with Pom Bear(Ready Salted), & the Walkers Baked range, for when I want a healthier choice.

I used to love Smiths 'Tubes', & the enjoy the 'Square' crisps, when I can find them.

I do enjoy a good crisp, but why are all the bad things so tasty? :-p
  • Wheat Crunchies (Bacon)
    McCoys (Chs&Onion)
    Twiglets (Big tub only)

Gutted they stopped doing RINGOS and SALT N SHAKE
  • Roast beef and mustard brannigans
  • Quavers
    McCoys- Flame Grilled Steak
M&S Gastro Pub Crisp Range- Minty Lamb Flavour.

  • You can still get salt n shake!
Once you've tipped the salt on and shook it, try sprinkling some vinegar in too, yummy!
Soggy crisps, is that an oxymoron?

Pickled Onion Monster Munch and the flaming hot ones.
  • Kettle Chips Jalapeno

but Walkers Cheese & Onion (Ridges if poss)
  • [cite]Posted By: creepyaddick[/cite]You can still get salt n shake!

    Where?

You better not be fooling with me! I support Charlton don't you know? In my current state of mind, my emotions cannot handle being betrayed or trampled on (by my own).

  • Smiths Bovril and several years ago Chipmunk Crisps had Oxo flavour - both delicious. Sadly cant get either now!
  • Like all crisps really but as a childhood favourite:

    Golden Wonder Smokey Bacon flavour!
  • order order order!

has this thread moved on from crisps to potato derivative and even maize derived products ?

crisps was the question ...i ll go for smiths plain with a little blue bag of salt inside c 1962
  • Walkers Max: cheese and onion flavour

    or

    Walkers sensations: thai sweet chilli

(when the latter were first introduced, my bro was a paper boy and he was given two massive boxes of them to deliver with the papers. As you can imagine, packets of crisps cant fit through many letter boxes, so we had a load left over (i think he delieverd 10 out of 150) and we thus we had a supply of them for a while. When I say "we" i mean me, as only I liked them... :)
  • COOP Champagne Vinegar and Sea Salt. Poncy S 'n' Vs but addictive.
  • Tasto wasabi flavour crisps. They come with an extra sachet of wasabi powder to really spice them up. I assume not available in the UK.
  • They don't make my favourites anymore :(
Sausage and Tomato (Smiths or GW can't remember now)
    Walkers Toasted Cheese
  • Potato flavour for me.
    (But Twiglets rule!)
  • Golden Wonder used to do sausage & tomato , they were decent .

Rileys used to make Tomato Sauce flavour and they were just the best crisps EVER
  • Pickled Onion Monster Munch!
