The Royal Oak.

Semi - packed to day, no bitter, nowhere near enough staff, 15 mins waiting to be served, staff not knowing how to operate the till and piss pouring out of the manhole cover in the back yard.

At least the lawn had been cut.

    That's poor.

We went to the Richard 1 in Greenwich.

Cracking beer garden, friendly bar staff, plenty of roon, nice drop of Youngs, free pints all round - and then a sprint to the station to get the train in time for ko. To be fair, could've done without the last bit!
  • Very poor effort. OK early doors but soon as it filled up the Bar staff struggled to keep up.
First game of the season, I'm sure they will be able to turn round this performance.

We had one in there and then went into the ground and drank.

They should have double the bar staff next game.

Apparently the Club ran out of beer at halftime.

I took one look at the queues and didn't bother.

Gave up on the oak last season, now days go to the bull in woolwich, lovely pint of guinness, no waiting, get the 1/4 to train and get to the ground for kick off.
