    No mention of them, worryingly.
  • Good news on the defenders - fingers crossed on Shelvey and Sam

"Sam and Jonjo Shelvey should also be available" according to the OS match preview.

Should be the same team as v wycombe then. Good. Should give us a chance of a result.

After midweek I wouldn't mind seeing Fleetwood on the bench instead of McLeod. Any thoughts?

Ah, the old Fleetwood/Mack debate rears its head again!
Subs benches are going to be interesting this season, now we're allowed seven on the bench. Last week it was Randolph, Basey, Spring, Wagstaff, Dickson, McLeod, Gray. In other words, a keeper, a defender, two midfielders and three strikers. I can't see how we would ever need to use five strikers during a game. So I would like to see McLeod or Dickson replaced by a defender on the bench.

Hope the starting 11 is the same, it's clearly our best team at the moment. Though the OS preview is actually suggesting Stavrinou, Spring and every striker have a chance of starting.

Bench, not sure, Randolph and Basey (mainly because he can play in four positions if really needed) have to be there, one of Spring or Stavrinou, Small so we have a winger, Gray and one of the other three strikers, and then it's a choice of Solly, Mambo or a third striker.

Given the three players out with injuries the final sub selection could be based on how fit they are.

Of course they are fit because they were never injured. They were just rested for a cup competition that we don't care about. The club have said that they were injured just to keep the league off our backs.

How long until people realise that we don't take The League Cup seriously. Another example that Dowie didn't do as he was told
