    Can't remember his name but didn't Newcastle have a former goalkeeper manage them in the late 80s?

    Unfortunately I did see Swindin at the Valley, as well as Ted Ditchburn who I think also went into management.

    Dino Zoff won the Italian League while manager of Juventus, but there might have been bribery involved...

    I think he was manager for Italy when they lost the Euro 2000 final to France.

    According to Wiki it was his father that played in goal.

    "Mourinho wanted to follow in the footsteps of his father by becoming a footballer and he joined the Belenenses youth team. Graduating to the senior level, he played at Rio Ave F.C., where his father was coach, Belenenses and Sesimbra but it became evident that he would not excel as a professional, lacking the requisite pace and power.

    He played over 300 games in goal for Wigan, Tranmere and Bangor City between 1983 and 1996
