From the 'Horses'...Takeover will happen with Varney, Bill Curbishley and Middle Easten money on board. Alan Curbishley will be the new manager after he has finished taking the Hamsters to the cleaners. November.
Some business was done last night at The Marriot that included Simeon Jackson coming our way with possibly Dickson going to the Drain Stealers.

Can't say who the Horse is, however the way I see it is if the Jackson thing is true then the rest follows 'cos I asked the Horse to give me some proof and they said the Jackson deal was discussed at the meeting along with the takeover, so if the Jackson deal happens then this will have legs.

Can`t understand this to be honest. It the most important issue surrounding Charlton at the moment perhaps even more important than the football because our future depends on it. I am interested in every post thats made in good faith by someone who has heard something. I suspect that there has been a few wind ups but most posters on here are genuine I`m sure.0 -

.........and I was just reading a bit about Bill Curbishley in The Who by numbers album this morning. I have since had a few bottles of wine and now I can see clearly (hic) why he would be part of the takeover and his bro will rejoin the addicks camp just after bonfire's night (Alan - not quite a prem club you were looking forward too but it's employment). Not quite sure about Simoen (Jordan) oder (Michael) Jackson bloke is/are but this probably linked to the O2 conglomerate - anyway, sounds like a good cake (hic).0

One thing I have on very very good authority is that IF Bill Curbishley is involved he wouldn't be putting in any of HIS money. If this latest rumour has any legs we need to scrutinise the real source of the money, because that will be the real seat of power.0

I have not commented on the takeover speculation because that is exactly what it is, speculation, however I can confirm that I was speaking to an ex CAFC player in Legends last week before the Wycombe game and when the talk turned to "The Takeover" he said we can all be certain of three facts:
1/ It is going to happen
2/ Peter Varney is involved
3/ Bill Curbishley is involved
Alan Curbishley, Arabs, Jackson or Dickson however were not mentioned.0
