I'd never noticed before today that the scrolling thingy at the bottom of the screen that gives the scores/scorers does not include Divs. 1 & 2: why not? Also, the first result to come up is always from Scotland: do they have a shorter half time break up there or perhaps no injuries or time wasting, or is there a time line between us and Jock-Land? Finally, good to hear ex-Charlton man Lawrie Madden summarising on the Macclesfied/Notts County game: not everyone's favourite player but he was a trier and gradually won the crowd over. Finally, finally, Jeff Stelling didn't give one mention to the game in the second hallf: bad loser! Thanks to all those who kept the thread going, great stuff!

they do have a five minute shorter break in scotland
one thing I've noticed more and more of late is what an amazing job Jeff Stelling does , every time he gives a score out he will be able to tell some little stat over the goal or the scorer without sounding like a stato0 -

They have pages and page of info going on, I'd imagine that the 'ticker' is for top line stuff-only during peak times. It's fair enough - when we were in the top flight I;d have gotten fed up waiting for the rest to go past. Whether you like it or not, there are more people watching that channel for Prem scores than anyone else!
Jamie Redknapp is hilarious. "I did this/ i did that/ I played with him" - the guy desperately needs to give the impression he played more than 7 games a season before retiring.
