..that he put straight at Reina...I missed the interviews after but I presume 'Arry once again said that his missus could've scored it?, seeing as how it was just as easy as Benty's one last season....what do you mean no he didn't?, how come?*
*maybe cause they won eh !

Sorry Eltham but who cares mate?
Yeah that was a sitter, worse sitter than Benty's last year!! Redknapp is a mug.
dont fcukng open it then mate, was pretty clear by the title what it was about.
As ElthamAddick pointed out the difference was that we won today and didnt drop two points at home when bottom of the league because of the said missed sitter.
Anyhow, I'm sure I read an interview with HR not so long ago where he admits he didnt handle the situation very well, I'll have a look and link it up if I can find it.
nah, he couldn't have got out of the way if he'd tried.
keane has openly admitted it was his childhood dream to play for liverpool. how apt that he should miss chances that harry's mrs would score.
If you've got facial spasms I feel bad for you son
I got 99 problems but a twitch ain't one
I'd literaly just come from a pub full of armchair fans talking about Spurs/West Ham/Arsenal/Liverpooll etc etc and taking the pizz out of The Addicks when I pointed out to them that they had a local club on their doorstep....pizzes me off and when I come on an Addicks site I don't much care to see others discussing them......that's all folks.
Others on here can 'of course' discuss it...but do any of us 'really' care 'that much' about fecking Spurs and whether their guy misses a sitter or what HR has to say about it..... in truth I don't think so, I may be wrong of course but that's my view.
I'll make you right there. He would have still been sitting on the bench ;-)
If you are not happy, then just ignore the thread, the clue is in the title
That made me laugh. He was rated as one of the best young players in Europe - if not the best - before Spurs "discovered him".[/quote]
I meant it in terms of being a premiership player, certainly not claiming Spurs discovered him. I think my first memory was of him destroying England singlehandedly a few years back. He looked class last year in patches but he's got used to the pace of the English game now. We'll enjoy him as much as we can this season as he'll be off at the end of the season. There's no way we can hang on to a player of his ability.
I agree couple of cracking saves from Reina, but the header was a sitter!
Johnboy - what happened to that Dos Santos Barcelona kid you were saying was the biggest coop in Spurs history?!
think he was at Ipswich last I heard?

On an extended break after the CONACAF Gold Cup where he was voted MVP (so very american!)
More info here: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009_CONCACAF_Gold_Cup">CONACAF</a>
Yes, in all honesty, he didn't exactly set the world alight in Ipswich either. Similar to Modric in build and struggled to adapt the pace of the English game. Will be interesting to see what happens to him this season. A lot of Spurs fans hope he can still break into the team but in all honesty, he came close to a permanent move to Pompey in the January transfer window only for it to breakdown because of his lack of first team fitness so would this his time at Spurs is numbered.
Wont be the first player we sign who doesnt make it big in the first team and nor will it be the last.
I get the feeling I will be reminded of this every now and again lol. I did comment on this six months or so ago...http://www.charltonlife.com/forum/comments.php?DiscussionID=24627&page=1#Item_3
