Fair play to burnley a result they'll be talking about for years to come just like our victory over the mighty orient ......................................
Love it! they play nice, attractive football as well - good luck to 'em. Also, I've always rated Robbie Blake - the only thing that's stopped him from being a top-class striker is his lack of pace. Really pleased Burnley seem to have stuck with him and not just punted him on line he probably expected they would when they got promoted. Finally, their keeper is quality - a f***ing great lump, but an excellent shot-stopper.
For once even Ferguson was gracious in his post-match interview as well.
Good for him. The best job he was going to get in England was a Lower Championship or upper League 1 gig so why not go and manage a similar standard in the Texas - chance to re build his reputation and get some life experience. We're only going to see more Brits moving to the MLS as you can get some experience of living abroad but not have to deal with a language barrier, well not a big one anyway.

Early days but Chelsea look like the team to beat in the Prem this year!
L'Arse will have something to say about that

owen must have bottled that penalty (carrick missed one, saved by the keeper)
So did Ferguson
Yes he indeed did. Burnley were 7th at the time.
