    My daughter was selected from hundreds of kids to appear in the town Xmas pantomime a week or so ago, however what really spoiled it for me was my families away support/home support ratio.

    As it turned out only 2 of the family, my wife & I saw the show - the rest - so called loyal grandparents, cousins, uncles, nephews etc - inexplicably stayed at home in England.

    Shocking support.
