And you've got to add in the extra distance due to veering from side to side if you've been in there since opening.

Well, I went in there for the first time in 2 years on Saturday with Nelsenout, The Equaliser, Uncle & Mrs Uncle.

We did 2 rounds up until 2pm before leaving to meet up with other lifers in another very well known matchday watering hole nearby.

    Verdict:

    1) Got served in reasonable time.
    2) Drank 2 pints London Pride ..... excellent.
    3) Sat in the very pleasant garden with a good sprinkling of others ...... excellent.

Loved the pub garden atmosphere before the match. Definitely enhanced my matchday experience.

    Will certainly go back.

Suits me fine mate. Still think 11 o'clock kick off would be better (for drinking of course) but we'll definitely go in there after
  • not to forget a great bbq burger at 2.50
  • We had a beer in there before the last home game, got served quickly and by a very friendly face, that makes a change nowdays. Thought we would try it for a beer after work on Friday, it was quiet, which is why it probally closed down before, but what a nice suprise.............................a pub, how pubs used to be. Great service by a very cheery young lady, a nice pint or 3 and toasties @ £2 each mmmmmmmmmmmm. Guys if your around the area give the place a look on a non match day.
All in all a very pleasant place........................well done, I just hope you can survive when there are no home games.
  • Visited again today..............................twice, before and after, thanks to the staff for the service and we liked the BBQ.

On a more serious note.............................how long will we stay unbeaten and will we go straight back up ??????

    No London Pride tonight.

    No IPA tonight.

    No paper in the Gents!

As I was forced to drink Guinness tonight the third of the above was disappointing.
