Rugby @ Wembley

What's out views on Saracens playing a league game at the home of football Wembley today.

Now I'm an egg chaser and a Sarries fan so I'm clearly biased, but when the RFU are so uptight about using Twickenham for anything but Rugby Union should the FA be a bit less giving when it comes to sharing Wembley with other sports?

Also if you didn't see it, it was a cracking game!

    Money talks...

    Wembley went way over budget and if they can let motor racing in then they can allow rugby. in any case the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final is held there and the Barbarians played there last year.

    But who won?

    Northampton really going for it at the end, a great spectacle for the 45,000 people that showed up.

    they'll play anything there that will pay them sufficient enough money to pay the debt !

    it was built as a multi use stadium, and that pitch is being ripped up next week after the Coldplay gigs, so it's no big deal really

    But you just thinking maybe the RFU could give a little back. Twickenham is a fantastic stadium and with a bid for the World Cup coming up two (possibly 3 including the new Olympic Stadium) 80,000+ stadiums with the opportunity of giving thousands of people a chance to see an international tournament in a way which is affordable would be great, but they are so up their own ass they won't even consider it, even though it's outside of the Rugby Season.

    British Football has given up 8 stadiums for the Rugby World Cup in 2015.
