mate told me on Saturday that in the last ten years of the thirty clubs relegated from the Championship only three then won promotion from League 1 at the first attempt, and only two automatically, one of which was Leicester last season. Bighton did so too from the play-offs. Can't remember the other team.

If true, astounding really.
