High Court has ruled today that banks wont have to pay back any 'unfair' charges. Kick in the nuts for alot of people this. People should manage their money correctly but £35 quid for going overdrawn etc is bang out of order.
Also heard that if the banks lost this case, then they would have to make up the money in other ways, including charging people £2.50 for withdrawing money from cash machines!!!0 -

Bump
I have a savings account with a bank here in France that now with their updated supposedly wonderful new app have decided to:
1. Only have an app. I can't access my accounts on my PC
2. Will only allow bank transfers to a current account in my name. I can't even transfer to our joint account.
I've just had to do the bank transfer by phone, and I took the opportunity to tell them that if they don't change these two things then I'm closing both my and my wife's accounts.
I was just wondering: has anyone else had this kind of experience? It seems crazy to me.0 -

The Lloyds (Business) banking app - I can transfer out as much money as I like using the app, but, from what I can see, I can't print, or even view a statement. That has to be done off the laptop.0
