turns out a mate works for RBS who underwrite sainsbury loans so they are gonna find out why it was turned down at least and I may be able to do something about it
High Court has ruled today that banks wont have to pay back any 'unfair' charges. Kick in the nuts for alot of people this. People should manage their money correctly but £35 quid for going overdrawn etc is bang out of order.
Also heard that if the banks lost this case, then they would have to make up the money in other ways, including charging people £2.50 for withdrawing money from cash machines!!!
