    To cut a long story short many years ago they ran a Horseracing competition with the prize being £10K. I was leading for most of the way until the Standard to change the Rules and award double points for Royal Ascot. As a result of that I came second and you don't win anything for coming second in this life - well not in that comp anyway.

    Wrote a couple of letters, took it to a solicitor but the Standard hid behind the small print which was pretty much "it's our ball and we'll play whatever game we like".
