Dara O Briain claimes Ireland set-up

Personally, I think its bang out of order. Coincidence that Blatter and Platini are German and French, both of whose nations' might need to go through play-offs in order to qualify for the World Cup Finals in 2010? Probably not. Or is it that countries such as Russia, Germany, France and Portugal have better commercial appeal than those such as Slovenia and Ireland? Either way, qualification should be based on merit rather than commercial potential.

  • Too right - having Blatter and Platini running the world game is getting embarassing due to their partisan natures.
