Charlton are reported to be showing an interest in Scunthorpe striker Paul Hayes with a view to a January move.
The Addicks, along with Leeds United and Derby County, are said to be showing an interest but it remains to be seen if the Iron would be willing to sell the 26-year-old.
Hayes, who is enjoying his second spell at Glanford Park, has chipped in with three goals so far this season and boss Nigel Adkins will be reluctant to let him go.

Barnard. Yes but this guy has a much better name and his record at this level is very good. Won promotion with Scunny.
Is also the younger brother of Martin.
And he is an east London boy so a move to Charlton may interest him over another grim northern outpost.0 -
Lee Barnard spent most of his career at Spurs in the stiffs until he was 23 playing on loan for various League 1/2 sides.I rate him and feel he would be an asset.0

I liked what I briefly saw last season, Scunny were impressive. But if we have to pay more than the £400,000 they paid for him not too sure as he isn't quite champ level.0
