I think the writing was on the wall for Barnes the minute he appointed Jason McAteer as his assistant - which was probably before Tranmere had kicked a ball under his reign as Manager.
Never have forgiven him for what he said when interviewed when joining us "it is great to be back in the Premiership, albeit at Charlton". Should have been sacked on the spot.
