    2. Used to be Bristol Rovers, when they played at Eastville. The M32 used to almost go over a corner of the ground and the hard shoulder was a prime viewing spot for many. Must be Walsall now, as it is right next to the M6.

    Grimsby, then Blackpool (although Southampton is closer to a tidal river, as is Fulham)

    Notts County and Notts Forest around 500 yards across the River Trent, about half the distance between Everton and Liverpool

    Carlisle, 55 miles from Newcastle

    West Brom's at 551 ft above sea level, next is Vale Park at 525 ft, then Boundary Park at 509ft
