Seems like we have been much more threatening with 2 upfront. Maybe 4-4-2 from now on?

Any other team with 5 minutes injury time would be pumping balls forward and having chances. Not Charlton.

Well we hit the bar twice and McLeod missed a sitter. Which is much better than lumping balls forward to Burton with nobody in support.

We might be a hard team to beat, but are we gonna win enough games to finish in top 2???

Claridge is driving me mental, 100 minutes of being slagged off on 5 live. Perhaps they should just give the title to Bleeds and let the rest of us draw straws to go up.

    Predictable or what?
  • this was a difficult game to commentate on Claridge....... and not helped by your negative rambles matey.... go and commentate on Millwall
  • Got to stop messing around with 4-5-1 at home and start really going at teams with two up top.

I still don't think we have enough to stay in the top 2. We rely on Shelvey too much and whatever people say, Deon Burton isn't going to top the goalscoring charts this season.

    No win in 3...

Oldham are a top half team in a good run of form, so not as bad as it may sound. still disappointing though.

Sooner the better Colchester only a point behind us now and with a better goal difference (for some reason). Huddersfield are going to be tougher than this lot next week. Beat Exeter 4-0 today. Better than our 2-1!
  • Scoring goals at home breeds confidence. We will never score enough at home playing 4 5 1.
  • 2 Points given up by Charlton.Thats really made my weekend not.

One win in our last six League matches and we've failed to score in our last three.

No goals in 3 LEAGUE games.

Tuna scored his first goal during the week and must have been buzzing. Yet he decides to bring on McKenzie who hasn't played atall this season and has hardly trained. Tuna would have been buzzing and much more eagar to get on the scoresheet IMO.
  • Parky has done brilliantly, but he is falling into the over cautious trap and is being reactive rather than proactive. It has been obvious for a few weeks now that 4 5 1 (especially at home) is becoming less and less effective. We should not be worrying about playing teams at home, we are better than most of them and the onus should be on them to try to stop us from scoring. I thought the performance against Barnet may have proved the point to him, it seems unfortunately that it didn't. Perhaps the second half performance today may have.

I make that something like 1 defeat in 18 league games so not all bad!

The formation is very easy to work out. Soon as the opposition go like for like we seem to struggle as Shelvey gets no space. We lump useless balls up to Deon Burton who isn't exactly an ideal target man. I don't think we have an out and out goalscorer in the team which you need.

I think we will end up in a top 6 spot though and thats better than what I thought.
