    [cite]Posted By: Off_it[/cite]Well, I think it's absolutely disgusting that I haven't got a ticket for this one.

I've been supporting the club home and away for 30 years, have been a season ticket holder for donkeys years, am a shareholder and was in Valley Gold for the first 10-11 years of it's existence - and this is how I get treated???

The fact that I never applied or rang up for a ticket, asked nobody to do it for me and have never had any intention of going to the game is completely irrelevant - the club is s**t and I demand an enquiry.

Shocking and symptomatic of the decline at the club since Peter Varney and David White joined the PLC board. Would never have happened before.

Personally I think the Box Office staff should ring all fans and ask if they would like some tickets for every away game.

Would be easy to draw up a list of supporters' in "Proper Charlton" order so it was fair to everyone.

If Curbs hadnt walked out on us, we would still be in Premiership with much higher away allocations.
We would never be in danger of selling out an away game....
  • A thread about an away game requesting more tickets after a sell out. Where's Oohaah gone? He's strangely silent on this one.

I don't think we'll get anymore tix as according to the Kent Messenger, the game is close to a sell out.

Have to remember that most Charlton fans (about 90% I reckon) were once Gills fans but once they were given a leaflet at a pre-season friendly about joining Medway CASC jumped on the Valley express and turned into premiership plastics overnight.

Away support at Priestfield this season:

    Swindon - 788
    Hartlepool - 151
    Exeter - 329
    Millwall - 1,933
    Norwich - 1,434
    Wycombe - 216
  • 24k every home game and Norwich can't sell out at Gillingham, it's a disgrace!

Nice, that proves to them that we aren't the premiership plastics that they thought we were. We could have taken 4k there.

We will, easily, they just won't appear on the stats ;-)

  • presumably Millwall will bring more to the Valley then we take to the Den but are they likely to take more than us to any other ground this season?

we've already sold more than them for Os and Gills

they'll be lucky to get as many tickets I'd have thought.

Millwall, only 499 more than Norwich, and only down the road as well, shameful.

still it's good to see the stress of charlton fans struggling to get an away ticket due to us having big travelling numbers, fair play and long may it continue , must have come as a shock to some
