Help 80's fashion

For some unknown reason this years work Xmas do
is at some organised place and the theme is the 80's
very ho ho xmassy not
so what was the fashion as in the eighties I wore
like I do now t shirt jeans trainers so help
required got 7 weeks to be eighted up

    I saw a young lad in the kitchen at work today in a pair of Farahs. Are they now cool again? I loved them,used to wear them to school in the early 80's. Then suddenly they were just a complete no-no.
    Maybe you have to be under 25 to wear them now? Shame.
