those were the days, three in midfield, five up front, boots you could knock a brick wall over with and a leather football that felt like it was made of concrete when it got wet and toe punting was a no go in the playground because the ball went like a rocket and hurt the poor kid that didn't get out of the way in time...

    He was nothing without the support of Bacon though. Can't we believe we didn't see more of him.

    to be fair, the bloke was too much of a showman and too fond of the hamlets to be able to keep the pace up in one of curbs teams...

    Curbs was friends with the big black midfielder at Arsenal a few seasons back but he kept roman around the pitch and wouldn't pass to his countrymen.
