Agree with this, also Primark and Peacocks if you don't want to spend too much. La Senza are a bit pricier but better quality.

i failed to add that if i was bought pj's from matalan and would be very pleased if they were the animal print or whatever i really wanted, i would be aware of the money that you had saved on purchasing them from this shop and would expect a posh meal or expensive bottle of champagne to be wrapped up with the pj's!!!!

Thanks all - I went into Primark up Oxford St last night and got 2 pairs for a tenner - bargain.
However I was amazed at the people in the shop, grabbing clothes left right and centre, piling it into big bags, without seemingly to even care what it was. It was the clothing equivalent of a starving person let loose in a soup kitchen.
Hopefully, will never have to go in that shop again.

Again, just want to stress, this was just one thing of many on her list - I am not a miser !!!!

primark is a god awful example of pikey shopping - although its a great shop for a bargain if you're not 100% bothered about quality.

Best to go there first thing when it opens though as by 10.30 its a jumble sale and its hard to find anything. people do that basket thing in primark and matalan where it is like supermarket sweep and they have 30 seconds to buy as much crap as possible. they then take 5 hours at the till picking and choosing what they do and don't want to buy. Its a bizarre way of shopping.
