I was there again today and will be there until tea tomorrow. Kent were better today but Glos simply looked smarter in the field. The difference is noticeable. Heggert is raw but bowled his heart out; the rest of the bowlers seemed to be wishing their lives away and waiting for the declaration. As for Philander, he seems to only bowl with fire after he is edged for four.LenGlover said:165-2 at the close

Key looked in good nick and was furious when he made an error. Northeast looked steady. Kent might save the game but a couple of early wickets and it will be a long haul.
