One for the kids this one.

Good drama on her life on BBC4 last night followed by a biog.

Never knew she took a lot of stick during the war for supposedly fleeing the country when she was actually working for the war effort.

Lived on the Isle of Capri which is somewhere I've not heard mentioned for years. Seemed to be the height of sophistication back in the 60s or so it seemed.

Me too Henners, had no idea about the problems she encountered during the war until I saw that.

Yes the isle of capri did seem the height of sophistication, jet set lifstyle and Frank Sinatra even sang about it!.... I was even up for buying a ford capri, and kid myself it was a mustang like Steve Mc Queen's..... still worse people to have as a hero........

Missed the programme will have to catch up on it, seems a long time now with all those black and white films.....
