Llera - 7 Some lovely raking passes to Sam. Looked a fish out of water once or twice as he does but never hid.
Youga - 7 was doing fine till the injury. Hoe he is ok
Sam - 8 Started really well, set up Mooney's goal and mixed it defensively as much as I can recall seeing him.
Shelvey - 7 Unfamiliar position but still managed to play some trademark passes. Not afraid to help Basey out either which may have gone unoticed by some.
Semedo - 7.5 His usual water carriers job seemed to be playing them on his own at times during our "wobble"
Bailey - 8.5 Just gets MOM because of how crucial that goal was. Worked hard throughout and actually looked like a skipper tonight
Burton - 7.5 chased everything and competed creditably in the air with their big lumps
Mooney - 7.5 move their big lumps all over the place took his chance clinically and pressured their keeper to enable the ball to run free for Bailry's goal
Basey - 7 not exposed for pace for a change and excellent corners.
Omozusi - 6 Indifferent even awful start but stuck at it. Not convinced though
Ikeme - 5 one pretty routine save that was made to look spectacular by poor positioning he offered little resistance. Seems to have inspired the defence to not let anything go anywhere near him

Llera 7 caused a lot of bother for the penalty and was generally solid, although didn't inspire confidence on a few occasions
Youga - 6.5 looked as comfortable on the right as the left. Injury will be a big blow
Sam - 7.5 the fact that his quiet spell coincided with Charlton's shows his importance
Shelvey - 5 clearly desperately wanted to get inside. Too eager to cut inside and try an unlikely shot.
Semedo - 7 relatively quiet, but did his job again. Got beaten quite easily a couple of times in the second
Bailey - 8 captain's performance driving the team forward, but also slotting in for teammates when they got out of shape
Burton - 7 terrible miss on the first goal, but worked hard throughout despite being constantly fouled won more than his fair share.
Mooney - 7 tired near the end and goes to ground a bit easily for my liking, but looks a handful
Basey - 7.5 did little wrong and pace was never exposed
Omozusi - 6 Poor start but was one of our better performers near the end

Waggy - has grown as a player in the last year, we'd have been better starting with him on the right and Sam on the left rather than banging square pegs into round holes.
Parky 6.5 Job done, but 2-0 is rarely a good scorline for him. Seems to try to shut up shop when we have the momentum with predictable consequences. Unlike Cardiff and Blackpool we at least got time to turn it back around. The experiment of putting Jonjo on the left didn't work and Ikeme's continued selection is baffling to me, but fielded a team that overran an opposition that looked good on paper. Understood that Bailey had to stay running the centre of the park, which was key.
1st things first how on earth anyone can score anyone in our team the same or lower than that useless fool who came on to replace Youga must be 100% certified insane he was the reason why we conceded 2 goals his defensive frailties led to panick in our midfield and defence

good game lastnigh, Sat in the directors box with the Rovers directors and families real good bunch of people and i hope they had a safe journey home, Dicko got a slating and by the end of the game i had convincingly sold Izale to them.
Omozusi wouldnt even get in their team i am relably informed by one of their directors and he admitted that was not a good thing.
Loved meeting Lennie last night and Paul Trollpe was a top man also.
Well done Parky came for a bit of unfair flack from certain qtrs in the west stand but we desered the win and that is 9 in 2 home games and i am very happy with that.
Parky 7 Gamble with Shelvey didn't come off and maybe could have brought Akpo and Waggy on earlier but had a very patched up back five and we won and scored 4 goals.
but collectively only a 6 for the defence as they dropped deep far too quickly and came out too slowly. Shelvey left didn't work, time for Holden? I wanted Omosuzi to be given a chance but he's clearly not up to it, I'd rather see Waggy there.
