99% of all charlton fans have continuously pointed out the bleeding obvious that romm should go for goal when he gets the ball, run into the box and force the defender/keeper to tackle or foul him and, on saturday, were proved right when he had no option but to run towards the goal on his own...the question is, will it ever happen again or is the obligatory square pass to a defender or a wrong-footed charlton player from outside the box still going to be employed ?

I wish he'd run at defenders more often... you only have to look at the Villa game and the Barry sending off to see what effect he could have....

yeah, i agree, but did you notice how he was like a scared kid when running down the centre of the pitch, if he wasnt such a big girls blouse he would be dynamite (or playing for a better side than us!)
  • I would keep him on the half way line when we are defending corners, any long ball out and he could race after it. Taking the pressure off, instead of it going back into our box.

He would have finished it, Kiraly is rubbish.

I seem to remember Dennis putting a blinding shot past Kiraly just a couple of seasons ago...

Might even have been in the last minute?
