What the first Stone Roses album? A really bad Jackson Pollack attack. Squires did some quite nice Pollock lite but not that one.

Don't really like Coldplay's there was a hella of a lot of nastycomputer/cad heads, thought they were all awful. Reminds me of terrible computer images like a Creed album. The guy who moulded a head out of blood and Gunther Von Hagens I fo=ind much more fascintating and less ersatz/hollow in effect.

Still think Nirvanna's Nevermind is amazing.

As others have said the Floyd, one should have been Dark Side, though personally I agree with Wickford.
I'd have thought Unknown Pleasures is about as iconic as any album cover.

The Soft Machine (1) is the best album ever cover. Not so good on cd as you can't twist the card around. Led Zep copied the concept.

good list but I reckon they should've had Joy Division 'Unknown Pleasures', Smiths 'Meat is Murder', Stone Roses and 'Dark Side'.
They wouldn't be able to use The Beatles as Henry says.
