watched that on youtube last night,what a fight,loved kaylors way of fighting,but had soft spot for erol as went to holland with him and nabc winners when my dad drove the mini bus,fuck he was chinny.anyone able to put the link up its worth it.

    That was a great fight. They were scrapping before the match, as I recall, but ended up OK with each other.

    They were great days for boxing. Used to love Tony Sibson. West Ham's boys used to follow Kaylor and had a huge row with Leicester at the Christie fight.

    Compare and contrast to many of today's carefully matched fights. They'd both be up against mugs until they got shots at some 9th string world title before eventually coming together for a pay-per-view skystavaganza with an effing name. Grrr. State of boxing.

    Was reading Cass Pennants book in the summer and in it he describes how he organised the security for this fight. Sounds like fun ;-)
