when you were young(er) and did it last long ? Needless to say mine was Hornby Dublo related and most of it has survived .

Probably a toy tank (no puns please) I wanted so badly ... as my birthday is so close to xmas Dec 8tth.. Beating Millwall at the new Den for me at the time was my best birhtday present !!

Late 1950's, my dear old Dad somehow found the money to buy me a real wooden bow with copper tipped arrows with a sling to carry them in and that leather thing your wore on your left wrist, together with a huge straw backed target on a stand. ( Robin Hood starring Richard Greene on the telly was my favourite programme at the time).Never let me down my Dad.
