    you can send a message solely to another poster by putting their name in the whisper box.

    Its a form of private messaging. Though it will be shown in yours and the other persons screen, it won't be seen on any others.

    A Permalink is a way to link directly to a comment in a discussion (it is the permanent address for individual comments). Say you want to do that in a discussion or from outside the forum, go to the permalink button and right click/control click (pc/mac) to copy the link and paste into whatever.

    I'm going to post some daily/weekly tips so that peole can learn the new techniques and the new features as they go.
